Can I add this to my vanilla world?
You can not add items, mechanics, textures, sounds or entities (Resource Pack & Behaviour Pack) from our content to your own or a new Minecraft world. The marketplace does not support this functionality outside of:
- Skin packs
- Texture packs.
This is due to the encryption on the Marketplace to make sure the contents of our games (and as such our livelihoods) are not distributed for free. Our maps also would not work as texture packs as we often retexture blocks to work in our games in a way that they would not work in vanilla worlds.
If you do un-encrypt our content and add elements of our games to your world, or add other resource or behaviour packs to our games, we can not guarantee stability or support. Our team does not have the bandwidth to help you recreate or modify our products.
Can you just release the texture pack from your games?
The way texture packs are made for our maps rather than as a stand-alone texture pack actually makes them super non-compatible for just converting to survival texture packs. So there are a lot of custom blocks & items or repurposed blocks in our products that do not match up with vanilla blocks or items, and then a ton more blocks that we don't make textures for at all since they're not used in the map. This is especially true of games with experimental features - like Bloom - where a lot of the aesthetic comes from custom geometry blocks and custom items, which go far beyond features supported in vanilla.
Texture packs based on our existing games are totally not off the table, and we love to know that there's an interest in them, but at the moment our team is very focused on making our next wave of awesome games!
Can you support me in modifying or editing your content?
We understand that some players may want to explore how we achieved certain things in our content, look at hidden things such as command blocks etc or modify elements of our games. We are unable to provide support to players who break the content through these investigations and you do so at your own risk knowing your world may be irrevocably damaged.
Can you give me a copy of the content?
We can not provide anyone with a free copy of our content (outside of giveaways) or an unencrypted copy. By purchasing or downloading Gamemode One content from the Minecraft Marketplace you are supporting a team of 20+ people, around the world, who create outstanding games as their full-time jobs.
We would love to be able to provide examples for others to learn from but this would put at risk our creator's careers. There are many free resources to learn bedrock content creation such as the Bedrock Dev WIki and the official Minecraft documentation.
