Community is at the heart of everything we do at Gamemode One. We are committed to creating a safe, welcoming space for everyone who joins us. We celebrate the fandoms we love, discover new ones together, and build community by uplifting others - not putting them down.
This code of conduct applies to all Gamemode One-controlled platforms.
Core Tenets
Respectful Communication
All community members are expected to engage in respectful and polite conversation. No harassment, hate speech, NSFW content, or bullying will be tolerated.
This tenet includes spamming chat with excessive messages, irrelevant content, unsolicited promotion, piracy, or other spam.
Be considerate of everyone’s background, opinions, and preferences. Friendly banter is welcome, but please avoid jokes or comments that rely on offensive language. Our community includes people of many backgrounds and ages, so keep that in mind whenever you engage on our platforms.
Sensitive conversations should be had in private communication (barring that they don’t target anyone) or on other platforms.
If you see inappropriate behaviour on any of our platforms, please report it to that platform’s moderator team. In Minecraft, you can report accounts directly using Mojang/Xbox’s in-game reporting tools.
Respect Privacy, Including Your Own
Do not share personal information about yourself or others without explicit consent. This includes addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses. Protecting your privacy and the privacy of others helps keep our community safe.
While we can connect with people who share our interests online, we never know who we are talking to on the other end, and you should always be cautious in your communications on any platform.
Proceed with caution before clicking any links, especially if you don’t recognise the URL.
Report Bugs!
We want to ensure the best experience for all players on our games, platforms, and servers. Please notify our team by reporting bugs or exploits.
Unacceptable Behavior
We reserve the right to protect our community from posts, users, and content that we deem unacceptable. Some examples include:
Bullying
Posts or content intended to belittle, humiliate, threaten, or harass another community member will result in immediate action and serious consequences.
Hateful Content
Any content that promotes hate toward an individual or group will result in an immediate ban. If you see hateful content, please report it to our moderation team right away.
Inappropriate Content
Our community does not tolerate any inappropriate content, including offensive humour, swearing, NSFW, religious or political content, illegal content, or anything we deem potentially dangerous.
Scams
Anyone running a scam, from IRL money trading for accounts or tricking players into giving away important information, will be removed from our community and may face more serious consequences.
Promoting Piracy
Promoting piracy or violating our copyrights will result in immediate action, including removal from our community and, when appropriate, DMCA takedown requests.
Spam
Sending repeated messages to get attention or disrupt conversation may result in a temporary or permanent ban. Spam also includes unsolicited promotion, low-effort or AI-generated posts, piracy, or other irrelevant content. This does not apply to community-made fan art, videos, memes, and other non-monetised creations.
Spam can also include repeatedly tagging people or bumping older posts that are no longer relevant.
Consequences
Consequences for violating this Community Code of Conduct range from temporary warnings or suspensions to permanent bans and other actions, depending on the severity of the violation.
You may appeal your bans to our Moderators; their decisions are final.
How can you support keeping our Community safe?
Report players that violate our code of conduct to our moderators. If you are in Minecraft, please use the built-in tools to block players, report them, and identify their accounts to Mojang.
We appreciate our amazing community, which also strives to create a great online space for Minecraft fans like us!
Gamemode One may update this Community Code of Conduct at any time. Community members are responsible for following the laws in their country, as well as Mojang and Microsoft’s Terms of Service and EULA.
