After purchasing and downloading AI Players on Minecraft Marketplace, you can add the pack to your worlds by either:
- Creating a new world and enabling the Add-On in the Behaviour Pack settings.
- Editing an existing world’s settings and enabling the Add-On in the Resource/Behavior Pack settings (automatically applies to the other when selected).
While in-game, you can use the Admin Tool you spawned with to invite AI Players to your world. Simply press the “Invite New AI Player” button, then select the ones you want to invite.
You can also toggle the “AI Server” on or off; this enables and disables the ability for AI Players to join your world (note: this isn’t an actual server or online connection; it just simulates it in your world).
If you lost your Admin Tool, you can craft a new one with a pickaxe, axe, and a copper ingot.
Moderation
If you want to use the moderation features in AI Players, interact with your Admin Tool to access the moderation menu. From here, you can select AI Players and apply moderation commands such as:
- Teleport: Teleports the AI Player to your coordinates.
- Kick: Removes the AI Player from your world immediately, although they can join again later.
- Ban: Permanently removes an AI Player from your world.
Play Together
You can get an AI Player’s attention by emoting, crouching, or jumping near them. Once you’ve got their attention, they will follow you on an adventure.
AI Players will seek out resources to advance in the game. They’ll start by punching trees to gather wood and then craft their first set of tools. They’ll hunt animals for food and fight monsters to defend themselves. They’ll head underground in pursuit of stone and ores, progressing all the way until they’re searching for diamonds!
Use the interact button on an AI player to access their inventory. You can take resources or give them resources to use (like food/tools/torches).
AI Homes
Use the Admin Panel on a bed to mark it as their home. Place a chest nearby so they can store their extra inventory items. AI Players will also use nearby crafting tables and furnaces in their homes.
