These bugs have been resolved in a recent update (v1.1.0) released on the 21st of December 2022, you can see the full changelog here. Please update your game to resolve these issues.*
You can check which version of Avatar Legends you are playing by activating cheats and then doing the command.
- A black box appears in the middle of the screen for some players
- There is a chance enemies vanish when the duel cutscene is complete
- Nintendo Switch freezes during the Northern Air Temple encampment
- Bending progression can be lost after travelling or reloading the game, this also prevented duelling avatars.*
*Note: Existing worlds where a player has lost their bending unlock progression will need to run the tag commands listed below to restore their bending.
Bugs with a known fix:
For many fixes, you will need to activate cheats.
To do this follow these steps:

This issue has

Performance occasionally dips on some platforms
On Air Temple to the left of the Sky Bison there is a White Lotus Member which is a `Performance Guide`. Interacting with this NPC will give you options to disable outlines or activate performance mode. Both of these actions can not be undone.
If you are experiencing FPS issues first try disabling outlines, this will remove the back outlines around NPC's and can increase FPS.
If after disabling outlines you still are experiencing issues activate performance mode. This will remove all non-interactable characters and decor from the world. This increases performance by reducing the number of loaded entities in the world.
Bugs without a known fix:
Using Water Whip, Octopus Form, or Earth Pull on a realm causes it to crash
Using either of these three bending abilities while on a realm causes the realm to crash. We are investigating this issue with the Minecraft Realms team.
There is a chance the game will crash when travelling on a Sky Bison
There is a small chance due to a vanilla bug that the game will crash when travelling via the Sky Bison, this should be resolved in a future Minecraft update.
