Taming your Bison

After completing the tutorial duel, a cutscene will take you to the Bison Stables entrance, where you can speak to Tenzin to receive the Taming Apple item.

Choose your flying bison and then use the Taming Apple to tame them. Once you’ve chosen your new best friend, you will obtain the Bison Whistle, and interacting with this item will allow you to recall your bison and travel to new regions.

Raising your Bison

Now that you’ve tamed them, you’ll need to look after your bison's needs. These needs are displayed through their various moods; your bison will get a thought bubble above their head to help you understand their mood. Respond to their needs by interacting with your fluffy friend, allowing them to gain experience and grow!

Raising your bison will increase the amount of time your bison can soar through the skies on your adventures, which can be seen via your Chi.

Customize Your Bison

When you first pick your bison, you’ll notice that they have different hairstyles and horn types. The horn style of your bison is permanent and cannot be changed. Your bison's hairstyle can be swapped using the Air Blade ability.

Saddles are collectibles you can find hidden throughout the world for you to find. To equip them to your bison, you can enter the Bison Customizer on Air Temple Island.
